My girlfriends lips hurt after we make out? ?

We have been making out a lot lately, and shes been complaining that her lips feel chapped or wind burnt. Is there any way to prevent this and is there something wrong? My lips felt a little dry and slightly chapped but nothing to complain about. My girlfriends lips hurt after we make out? ?
It could be from stubble if you didn't shave or it could be just chapped lips. At worst it could be oral herpes.

Tell her to keep aware of some symptoms. Symptoms for oral herpes usually include dry chapped skin, itching and or, burning and or tingling sensations under the skin of the lips, usually all at one spot, then a pimply thing would come up on the skin usually around the lips. The pimply thing some times breaks out into a larger cut, sore, or blister. All of this would happen usually between 2-30 days after you kissed her or if she had oral herpes for a while then some thing else could have triggered it.

Try not to feel bad about it. IF it is oral herpes then, oral herpes is common to have, they are the same thing as cold sores and about 80-90 percent of the world's population has it. Most people contract it when they were a child from a family relative or friend giving them a kiss on the cheek or sharing things with some one who gets cold sores. My girlfriends lips hurt after we make out? ?
It's from your stubble.

She's got faceburn, dude!

Tell her to use unscented lip balm right after you lock face!
Brush your teeth.
