lipstick is just something that adds color to your lips. most of them dont even shine.
a matte lipstick will make your lips appear smaller, especially if you use a darker color. Think of it this when when your tan/darker you look thinner right? Same theory goes for your lips. And lip gloss magnifys your lips it doesnt make them look smaller at all!
I think it's more to do with colours....darker colours make lips look smaller (same applies to eyeshadow etc...) and lighter colours make it appear bigger....hope this helps :)
LIP GLOSS BECAUSE U CAN MAKE THE gloss like smaller and dont have to color ur whole lip soo when u look from far u can only c the shining part which makes it look smaller^^
Lipstick makes your lips look smaller. Gloss magnifies your lips due to the shine, so I guess if your lipstick is shiny it would work.
DEFINETLY LIPSTICK. because lipgloss has shine, it magnifies the plumpness in your lips. duh. :]
