or even cold sores? cause I don't want to kiss anyone for a while if it does. are there any way to KEEP lips soft and unchapped for longer than 12 hours or even a day during the winter?Do chapped lips effect kissing?

With someone who loves you it doesn't. Use Vaseline and gently brush your lips with a toothbrush as you would your teeth.
DO NOT KISS ANYONE IF YOU HAVE A COLD SORE They are infectious. As for chapped lips There are lots of cheap lip balms on the market.

Don't ever kiss anyone if eithe rof you has a cold sore. That is a form of herpes (a form that most people have) and you can spread it. To avoid chapped lips, make sure you are fully hydrated. Drink plenty of water. Your skin drys up first when you are in need of fluids. And keep some lip balm in your pocket and apply it a couple of times a day.





Chapped lips won't stop you from being able to kiss... but it's much nicer when they aren't dry and cracked.
use coconut oil. it will heal them very quickly
you shouldnt kiss anyone with cold sores cause then you spread your cold sore to them.

Yes. Who wants to kiss someone with nasty chapped lips? And cold sores are herpes. So, get some valtrex and some vaseline or chapstick and DO NOT kiss people if you have cold sores.
